GUIDLINES AND SAFETY PLAN FOR COVID-19

As we return to work and begin this “new normal” in the workplace we understand that many employees and members will have concerns about safety as well as the changes to company policies and procedures that we have implemented. The safety plan will be mandatory for all Synergy Fitness employees, members, and visitors.

Monday- Thursday:

6:00 AM – 10:00 PM

Friday:

6:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Saturday:

7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Sunday:

7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL SYNERGY EMPLOYEES AND MEMBERS:

  • Stay home or go home if you are sick.
  • Maintain social distancing practices at all times.
  • Wear a face mask at all times.
  • Wash your hands with soap and water frequently or use hand sanitizer.
  • Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue or the inside of your elbow when sneezing or coughing.
  • Avoid touching your face.
  • Replace handshakes with head nods and waves.
  • Avoid using other employees’ phones, desks, equipment, or work tools.
  • Bring your own towel and mat.

Following all company guidelines and practices is mandatory to all employees and members.

WHAT IS SYNERGY FITNESS DOING?

Monitoring and abiding by federal, state, and local laws and public health communications about COVID-19.

Before reopening we will hold a companywide training on safety procedures and protocols to ensure the safety of employees and members.

We are doing everything to keep our customers and staff safe during these trying times.

Hours of Operation:

Our hours of operation will temporarily change to ensure the safest environment for our employees and members.

Monday-Thursday: 6am – 10pm
Friday: 6am – 9pm
Saturday: 7am – 7pm
Sunday: 7am – 3pm

Capacity:

Ensure capacity within the gym is limited to no more than 33% of the maximum occupancy. Will be implementing remote check-ins, and/or advance sign-ups for spaces through our APP.

Face masks:

Face masks are mandatory when entering the facility with the exception of children under the age of 2 and people who are to medically unable to tolerate such covering; we will ensure that individuals who are unable to medically tolerate a face covering wear a face shield at all times. 

*Face masks and gloves will be provided to employees.

Screening:

Implement mandatory health screening practices (questionnaire, temperature check) for employees, members, and, where practicable, contractors and vendors. This information will be stored within our software and will be available to state and local health departments upon request.

Any person who screens positive for COVID-19 symptoms must not be allowed to enter the facility

Distancing:

Individuals to ensure at least 6 ft. distance between social distancing signs and guidance marks, allowing members and employees to maintain a safe distance were installed.

Modified the use, reorganized, and/or restricted the number of workout stations (e.g. cardio equipment, mats) so that individuals are at least 6 ft. apart in all directions.

To ensure distancing we will implement a workout station rotation system. This rotation will allow members to maintain a 6ft distance and employees to sanitize and disinfect equipment.

Shared Facilities:

Group classes, day care services and shower and water fountain  sage will be suspended until further instructions from state and local health departments are provided.

HVAC:

All our central HVAC system filtration were upgraded to a minimum of MERV-13.

Hygiene Cleaning and Disinfection:

Cleaning, and disinfection requirements from the Centers
for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Department of Health (DOH) will me met and
logs that document date, time, and scope of cleaning and disinfection will be kept on site.

Complete cleaning and disinfection will be performed during the following time periods: (No members will be allowed in the premises during this times)

We have hand sanitizer available at different locations of our fitness clubs for members and employees.

All Synergy Fitness employees and members will be required to complete a health questionnaire before arrival. These health questionnaires will be kept confidential and will be available to state and local health departments upon request for 28 days as per NYS guidelines.
